What is Living Willow and Dead Willow or Wicker?

Living or Green Willow
Living willow, also known as green willow is still fresh and capable of sprouting, and is planted, rather than installed. It lasts indefinitely and can grow taller - into a tree even! It has a lovely fresh green feel to it. Trimming is needed every year or two.
Available: September to March
Uses: Structures and dens that sprout. Contact Stephen on 07773 635801

The arch and screen in the picture below takes one day and costs around £180
In the same picture, the small den behind it takes half a day and costs around £100

Dead Willow or Wicker Work
This is willow that has been left in storage rather than kept alive, and is no longer growing. Because it won't sprout, no maintenance is required. It will last a couple of years outside and can be coated with preservative or wood paints.
Available: all year round
Uses: Screens, barriers, sculptures, obelisks for inside and outside. Contact Stephen on 07773 635801

Willow Bundles
